The NHS needed to strengthen a clinical decision support programme designed to help clinicians make better-informed choices and improve patient aftercare. Although the initiative had strong clinical value, the existing data structures and technical architecture were fragmented, difficult to maintain, and increasingly limiting the programme’s ability to evolve.
